When Ogun Govt Takes Interest In NANS/OGUN JCC Election. By- Prince Lipede Adeniyi Olamilekan

THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED IN OGUN STATE YES! It has never happened that a State Governor who is supposed to be a father to all would be so interested in installing his stooges to gag student unionism in the State that he would resort to brutality and use of force. It's ridiculous,barbaric and unfortunate that Nigeria Students are experiencing these in Ogun State. The true Story The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) JCC Ogun axis election which was slated to be held at the Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, FUNAAB was strategically changed to the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic by the deputy Speaker of the State Assembly Tola Banjo to avail their government of forcing their stooges on the students population. The arrival of the 7senators who were against imposition out of 10 senators all of whom are SUG presidents legally recognised to elect the new exco was welcomed by the State Security Service ,SSS, locking them up to vote under duress. The 7 senators amidst heavy security rejected this and were seriously beaten and molested by the security operatives and some cultists wearing APC tee shirts. The election could not hold at that point in time, but immediately held after they were released. Convergence A convention was held at the Federal College of Education, Osiele where the 7senators unanimously dissolved the present outgoing executives of NANS, JCC Ogun Axis. The convention Chairman Adu Oyeyemi Joseph and the Convention Clerk conducted a free and fair election in the presence of 7 SUG presidents which include 1. Kazeem Gbenga FPI Ilaro 2. But just this once the emergence FALOLA AHMED popularly known as Stainless against the godfatherism of one Tola Banjo who failed to ensure his boy 'okiki' is declare winner with the help of Toronto Senators,SSS,and some political jobbers who are still parading themselves as students after graduation about 2/3 years ago. Imagine the likes of Clement,Arobaba,Component,Osama,Melody,Igwe etc still peddling in the affairs of NANS? Hah!!! NANS is bleeding! Nigeria Students are suffering!! Tola Banjo(Deputy Speaker OGHA) is busy strategising towards 2015 which he's never sure he'll be alive to witness. Appreciation We thank all Students of our various tertiary institutions who solidly stood behind us to ensure that we are adequately position to protect students' rights and interests. We promise to continue to promote the general well being of the Student population with the uppermost belief that “an injury to one is an injury to all”. The Question What is the pride of a State Government that its Students community could not on their own fate produce a set of trustworthy leaders without infiltration and their rights been infringed upon by the members of that Government? Posterity is a god of moment which records the act of individual and shall mete it to everyone at due time.
