Protocols:
It gives me great delight to welcome you all to this gathering where the essence of good representation we promised our people is being fulfilled. I am standing here today to inform you all that together we have fought a good fight and we have finished the task for which we were commissioned.
Today, I make bold to say that our stewardship in the House of Rep. in the last 12 Years has touched all the nooks and crannies of the two local governments we represented and beyond.
At every point in time, we have demonstrated that meaningful representation can bring about viable benefits in the area of infrastructure improvement, socio - economic development, employment and of course educational development.
We have ensured that our stay in the National Assembly is not only about speaking grammar, moving motions and passing bills but by giving hope and putting smile on the faces of our people.
Over the course of our stewardship, we have raised the bar of representation and set very high standard for those coming behind.
Clearly, the numerous achievement and inroads we made in the last 12 years wasn’t a personal effort, it was a collective task.
At this juncture, I want to thank the leadership of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Director-Generals and head of departments in the ministry for their support and cooperation over the last seven years while serving as the chairman of the house Committee on Science and Technology. Together, we have impacted on the lives of the people.
Finally, I want to appreciate the people of Yewa-south/Ipokia federal constituency for their unalloyed support over the years.
To my Supporters, I want to say a big thank you and be rest assured that there is light at the end of the tunnel for us. Let us be resolute and remain focus in our quest for “Positive Impact”.
We are finishing strong…….!
