A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State, Tunde Oladunjoye has lashed out on the leadership and promoters of Allied People's Movement in Ogun State describing their purpoted endorsement/adoption of President Muhammadu Buhari as their (APM) Presidential candidate, as a comical show and a Greek gift for which the President and the party cannot be cheaply be deceived with.
The former running mate of Prince General 'Tunji Olurin in 2011 noted that "those behind the “purported endorsement” are “hiding behind one finger” to reap where they did not sow”
Oladunjoye who raised alarm over his life being under threat as he was forced to move a motion for the nomination Abdul Kabir Adekunle Akinlade as the "consensus candidate" of APC few months ago in the statement on Thursday stated, "Let me tell you clearly that these characters are aware of the popularity of Mr. President and they want to catch-in on that to promote their infant-party. Good enough, our dear President cannot be deceived by their duplicitous antics”.
The Allied People's Movement had earlier on Thursday flagged off it's governorship campaign in Ogun State in a carnival like manner at a rally held inside the mainbowl of MKO Abiola International Stadium Kuto Abeokuta where several supporters and party faithful across the country attended.
